Summary:	Now anyone who's read comics in the past few decades or even a devoted Method Man fan must be somewhat familiar with the story of Ghost Rider. If you don't know, here's a quick rundown. In an effort to save his cancer stricken father, a teenage Johnny Blaze made a pact with the devil, his soul for his father's health. But Johnny is blind to any of this, so he signs a deal that would've been written up by a Bad Boy Records lawyer in the mid 90's. But in any case, once Johnny saw his father's extra crisp body, he knew it was time to bolt town leaving behind his pain and his love. Now Con-Air is all grown up and if making a living getting his Evil Knievel on. Constantly risking his life with ridiculous motorcycle stunts that should've been had him sipping on margaritas with Elvis and Tupac while scratching himself, na'mean. For years ol' Johnny boy didn't know whether it was his own personal motorcycle skills that helped him survive his stunts, or if it was the angel of darkness on his shoulders. All the while the devil's son is looking to take his father's hellish reign on earth and is searching for a legendary contract that his dear old dad never collected, due to a rogue ghost rider who broke boogie with it. So anyway, a gothic looking version of a grown-up Eddie Munster recruits three demons. One is made of water, one of wind, and the other of earth. So once devil boy gets wind of his son's plan, he calls on Mr. Blaze to fulfill his end of the bargain and stop the three amigos and their leader from retrieving the lost contract and taking over the world. Now, here are my beefs with the movie. Why does she have a career again? Oh yeah, I'm reminded in every scene where her all her shirts just happen to be unbuttoned button-downs. This woman was riding her cleavage for screen time the same way J. Lo used her apple bottom to sit on top of the world. Her acting was more mediocre than Kevin Spacey's Oscar performance in American Beauty (No way in HELL he was better than Denzel that year) Don't get it twisted, she's hot to death and yes I would do things to her that would guarantee my ticket to hell, but does that justify her having a career? . . . read all

Summary:	This movie bombed at the Thai box office, was pulled out after a 3-week run, sparked off protests in Cambodia and caused a diplomatic incident. The cast of Academy Fantasia (a popular Thai reality show about aspiring actors) star in Ghost Game, a horror movie about a paranormal Fear Factor type reality show where contestants are apparently taken to creepy locations to rough it out, and the last one to be spooked out wins. Imagine what would happen if the contestants were brought to a really haunted prison camp formerly run by a bloodthirsty commander. For a reality show set on a sizeable island, where are the crew with handheld cameras tagging along each of the 11 contestants for almost all their waking and sleeping hours? How do we see what happens in the film if there are no camera crew around to film the footage? Yet at times, parts of Ghost Game look as though they are shot in hand-held, and we know there are no on-site camera crew in those scenes. Sarawuth Wichiensan has this rather cute impression that a reality show that follows the movements of 11 contestants over a few days can be aired live on television at apparently all times of the day in Bangkok. In real life, reality shows are filmed on location, then edited at a studio, and broadcast on television months later. That this ill-conceived notion went uncorrected is quite a feat when you realise that at least 11 people on the set just went through a reality TV show, and would know much more than the director on the topic. Perhaps the greatest crime is this: at the beginning of Ghost Game, footage is shown of a previous camera crew mysteriously dying of extreme shock at the same site. At the end of Ghost Game, when the killings begin, the contestants and crew do not die in the same manner, despite the fact that they encounter the same forces that killed of the previous crew. A horror movie is simply not worth watching if it breaks its own rules. Or if the makeup for the ghosts is so amateurish and half-baked that it reminds you of your secondary school drama night event. . . . read all

And the closest thing to actually being the Ghost Rider is watching him at the movies, chomping on popcorn and forgetting to swallow - and that's just what we'll be doing this weekend. Trivia When Ghost Rider 's Eva Mendes isn't acting, she's writing children's books. Hey, she could read us a story before bed anytime, only, it would definitely not put us to sleep. Mephistopheles in order to save his dying father. By doing so, Blaze is forced to leave the love of his life, Roxanne Simpson. Excellent movie for those who were seeking pure escapism. If you were expecting more from this movie, than you were in the wrong place. Do your homework before buying a ticket. Dragon is absolutely right! The special effects were good. But thats it, bad acting, bad dialogue, this movie is in the same league as Cat Woman and DareDevil. The story was laughable, they did such a poor job on it. You knew what was coming, you went and saw it. And for what it's worth, it's an entertaining movie. This is m'fing Ghost Rider. The movie knew it had a cheesy premise and played it up for all it's worth with great action and great Special Effects. Nicholas Cage isn't the greatest actor of all time, but his woodeness worked in such a great contrast to the Ghost Rider that I couldn't imagine any other character playing Johnny Blaze now. This one doesn't deserve to get panned nor does it deserve an Oscar. It is a popcorn movie, shut off your brain and enjoy. You won't leave the theatre analyzing life, but that's okay. Enjoy your guilty pleasure and screw the critics. read all
